Industry Standard: Navigation or Advertisement?
December 3, 1999 The Industry Standard unveiled their latest redesign in early November and right away I thought they had removed one of my favourite pages on the site: an index of all the articles from the current issue on the newsstand. I read the note from Michael Parsons, Industry Standard's Editor in Chief, about the redesign and it didn't mention what happened to the page. Well today when I asked him why the current articles page was removed, I was surprised when he pointed out that the current issue page was linked in on the front page (and almost every other page on their site).
