EE Times: FCC forms wireless task force.
The task force will review U.S. spectrum management policies and regulations and develop recommendations for stimulating the growth of wireless Internet service providers. The group also plans a series of public hearings beginning on May 19 and extending through August to gather industry comments.
InfoWorld: Microsoft revisits NGSCB security plan.
Originally, Microsoft had limited NGSCB to provide strong protection for very small amounts of data through protected agents. Applications would have to be rebuilt to include a protected agent that would run in a secured space on the system. Now Microsoft is working to revise NGSCB so that it will be possible to secure more bits without having to rewrite applications..
